ImprovedA set's icons all fit in the detail view
The row under a set used to stop at six. It scrolls sideways now, with every icon in it, and nothing drawn behind them.
ImprovedIcons without a plate
Glass styles no longer sit on a blurred colour square in the grid, the detail view or the Studio. Every icon stands on the page itself.
ImprovedThe Studio on a phone or tablet
The toolbar wraps instead of spilling off the edge, the glyph library keeps one density at any width, and the stage stays within a swipe.
ImprovedSwitching sections in the drawer
The dropdown is gone; References, Styles and Sets sit in one row at the top of the drawer, the current one marked.

Sets save again
FixedSaving a set on a built-in style works
Every save on one of the twenty built-in styles failed, however many icons you picked. It goes through now.
FixedErrors say something you can read
A failed save used to show the raw database statement in the toast. It shows one plain sentence now, and the details stay in our logs.

A readable sidebar
FixedThe sidebar stays legible over the grid
On narrower screens the filter rail floats over your icons; their colours used to bleed through the glass and wash out the labels. It is solid enough to read now.

Sign-in unstuck
FixedSigning in takes you where you were going
Since 3.2.0, opening Sets or the Studio while signed in bounced between the page and the login screen. It goes straight through now.

Tidier shelves
FixedEvery icon is the same size
Drawn icons used to sit small inside their card while AI ones filled it. They match now, and a set's cover shows four icons again instead of one.
ImprovedIcons stand on their own
No more grey plate behind a circle or a speech bubble. Only glass styles keep a backdrop, and it follows the icon's shape.
ImprovedOne colour for selection
The blue outline on a chosen subject or style is gone; selection uses the same charcoal as the rest of the interface.
ImprovedDetails fit your screen
The icon and the row of variations under it both fit without scrolling on a laptop, and the close button sits in the corner.

yIcon has a public home. Links, previews and bookmarks all point there now.
ImprovedOne way to say “selected”
Every switch in the Studio uses the same charcoal pill; the toolbar lines up with the three panels; backdrop and zoom sit on the canvas where they belong; SVG, PNG and platform packs share one Export menu.

Buttons, sliders and active states use a cool charcoal instead of pure black, with a hairline highlight.
NewSolar is credited
Exports that use a Solar glyph include the CC BY 4.0 attribution as a text file, and the site footer names the set.
FixedSign-in stays put
Signing into another app on the same machine no longer logs you out of yIcon. You will need to sign in once more after this update.

A front door
yIcon now has a landing page that shows what it does by doing it — every icon on it is drawn live from a recipe.
NewLanding page
Six glyphs cycle through ten styles in the hero, a matrix shows a set following a style change, and the AI section prints the exact prompt a recipe becomes. Signed in, you skip it and land in References.
ImprovedReferences has its own address
The catalogue lives at /references now, beside /styles and /sets. Links to the old home still work.

The style is the thing you edit now. Read one out of a real app icon, tune it, stamp it across a set of subjects — and export it exact, or let AI finish it.

Pick subjects from 1,300+ glyphs or paste an SVG, choose a style, and see the whole set redraw as you tune background, material and glyph.
NewRead a style out of any reference
Open a reference and its colours and silhouette are read off the pixels on the spot. Send it to the Studio with a ghost overlay to match against, or ask AI for the full recipe.
NewAI refine
Hand a vector draft to the image model with the recipe spelled out exactly, pick how faithful it should stay, and compare draft and result side by side.
NewExport packs
PNG, SVG, iOS, macOS, Android and favicon sets in one ZIP, rendered in your browser at every size.

Small polish
FixedBrowser tabs say where you are
Every page now names itself in the tab and in bookmarks, instead of all of them reading the same thing.

A new home
yIcon moved to new infrastructure. Most of it you will not notice — but you will need to set your password again.
ImprovedSet your password once more
The move to a new sign-in system could not carry passwords across. Your account, your icons and your library are all exactly where you left them — only the password needs setting again.
ImprovedIcons load without expiring
Image links used to time out after an hour and quietly refresh in the background. They no longer expire at all, so a tab left open overnight still shows your library.
ImprovedFaster SVG export
Vectorizing now happens in your browser instead of on the server, so the download starts as soon as you click rather than after a round trip.
FixedSign-in options trimmed
Magic-link sign-in and password reset are unavailable for now — they need email delivery that is not set up yet. Email and password still work.
