  1. v3.1.0

    A front door

yIcon now has a landing page that shows what it does by doing it — every icon on it is drawn live from a recipe.

    New

    Landing page

Six glyphs cycle through ten styles in the hero, a matrix shows a set following a style change, and the AI section prints the exact prompt a recipe becomes. Signed in, you skip it and land in References.

    Improved

    References has its own address

The catalogue lives at /references now, beside /styles and /sets. Links to the old home still work.

    Fixed

One selection colour in the Studio

The chosen style tile matches the blue ring used for subjects and set tiles.

  2. v3.0.0

    Icon sets from one style

The style is the thing you edit now. Read one out of a real app icon, tune it, stamp it across a set of subjects — and export it exact, or let AI finish it.

    New

    A new home

One grid, three collections: References, Styles and Sets, switched from the toolbar. Bookmarks to the old catalog and library pages now land here.

    New

    Studio

Pick subjects from 1,300+ glyphs or paste an SVG, choose a style, and see the whole set redraw as you tune background, material and glyph.

    New

Read a style out of any reference

Open a reference and its colours and silhouette are read off the pixels on the spot. Send it to the Studio with a ghost overlay to match against, or ask AI for the full recipe.

    New

    AI refine

Hand a vector draft to the image model with the recipe spelled out exactly, pick how faithful it should stay, and compare draft and result side by side.

    New

    Export packs

PNG, SVG, iOS, macOS, Android and favicon sets in one ZIP, rendered in your browser at every size.

    Improved

    Your existing batches are Sets

Everything you generated before shows up under Sets, untouched.

  3. v2.0.1

    Small polish

    Fixed

Browser tabs say where you are

Every page now names itself in the tab and in bookmarks, instead of all of them reading the same thing.

  4. v2.0.0

    A new home

yIcon moved to new infrastructure. Most of it you will not notice — but you will need to set your password again.

    Improved

    Set your password once more

The move to a new sign-in system could not carry passwords across. Your account, your icons and your library are all exactly where you left them — only the password needs setting again.

    Improved

    Icons load without expiring

Image links used to time out after an hour and quietly refresh in the background. They no longer expire at all, so a tab left open overnight still shows your library.

    Improved

    Faster SVG export

Vectorizing now happens in your browser instead of on the server, so the download starts as soon as you click rather than after a round trip.

    Fixed

    Sign-in options trimmed

Magic-link sign-in and password reset are unavailable for now — they need email delivery that is not set up yet. Email and password still work.

  5. v1.1.1

    Faster under the hood

    Improved

    Snappier, lighter app

A framework upgrade makes yIcon faster to build and lighter to run — no visible changes, just less waiting.

  6. v1.1.0

    See what's new

yIcon now tells you what changed — you're looking at it. Every release lands here as a curated timeline.

    New

    Changelog page

A release-by-release timeline of what's new, improved, and fixed, always one click away via the Changelog link in the header.

  7. v1.0.0

yIcon 1.0 — cohesive AI icon sets

The first stable release. Start from a real iOS app icon, then generate sibling variants that share the same background, style, and palette.

    New

    AI icon generation

Describe what you want and let the agent produce it. Pick a reference icon and it generates a matching set that shares one background, style, and palette.

    New

    Icon editor

Dial in prompts, styles, and parameters, reuse a library icon as a locked seed, and carry settings straight over from anything you've made before.

    New

    Personal library

Every generation is saved. Favorite the keepers, bulk-select and delete the rest, download any icon as PNG or SVG, and page through your history.

    New

    Reference catalog

Browse the 60fps.design catalog as your reference shelf, filter by Recent and Favorites, or bring your own icon in by URL or file upload.

    New

    Samples gallery

A curated set of reference icons to explore the tool with, at /samples.

    New

    Flexible export

Download as PNG or color-aware SVG (vectorized on the fly), or grab a whole set as a single ZIP.

    New

    Accounts

Sign up and sign in with email and password, with full password reset.

    Improved

    A more alive home page

An animated WebGL backdrop sits behind the hero, tuned to keep the text crisp and readable.

    Improved

    New brand identity

A cat mascot logo, matching favicon, and a dedicated social share banner.
